Opportunities Available
Direct Support Professionals
Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are at the heart of daily life at Villa Glen Homes. In this role, you will provide hands-on support, supervision, encouragement, and companionship to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a home-like setting.
Responsibilities may include:
Providing respectful, person-centered assistance with daily living activities, hygiene, meals, mobility, routines, and community participation
Supporting residents with individualized goals, skill-building activities, and positive behavior-support plans
Maintaining a safe, clean, structured, and engaging home environment
Observing, documenting, and communicating residents’ needs, progress, behaviors, and incidents according to care plans and program requirements
Following medication-support procedures, health-and-safety protocols, and all applicable policies
Working collaboratively with fellow caregivers, administrators, behavior consultants, families, and members of each resident’s interdisciplinary team
Treating every resident with patience, professionalism, compassion, and respect
We welcome candidates with caregiving, direct-support, behavioral-health, healthcare, special-education, residential-care, or related experience. Administrators
Villa Glen Homes is also seeking experienced, organized, and compassionate administrators to provide leadership within our adult residential facilities. Administrators play a vital role in maintaining high-quality care, regulatory compliance, staff development, resident safety, and strong communication with families and professional partners.
Responsibilities may include:
Overseeing daily residential operations and ensuring a safe, supportive, well-maintained home environment
Supervising, scheduling, coaching, and developing Direct Support Professionals and other team members
Ensuring compliance with applicable California Department of Social Services, Department of Developmental Services, regional-center, licensing, and program requirements
Supporting individualized service plans, behavior-support plans, medical appointments, medication procedures, and documentation standards
Coordinating with residents’ families, conservators, case managers, healthcare providers, behavior consultants, and interdisciplinary teams
Maintaining accurate records, incident reports, staff files, training documentation, and operational reports
Promoting a positive workplace culture grounded in accountability, teamwork, respect, and person-centered care
Responding effectively to resident, staffing, health, safety, and operational needs
Ideal administrator candidates bring strong leadership and communication skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and experience in adult residential care, developmental services, healthcare operations, or a related field.
